Mexifoods, S.L. was born in 1991. After several market studies, the idea of launching mexican products to the spanish market was a reality. At that time this kind of products were almost unknown in our country, but they were very well accepted in other countries.

At the beginning, the whole range of products were registered under a trademark of mexican products with the idea of adding different products in future. In August 1993, we decided to start up the manufacturing of mexican tortillas at the first factory of this kind in Spain and then, we moved to the area of Collado Villalba, in Madrid. |

In the midst of 1997 and because of the high sales obtained and the high demand for these products, we initiate the implantation project of a factory of high production at European level with American technology

In order to obtain the abovementioned objectives we moved our offices to a larger space of 1000m2 and we elaborated an important work improving our installations and machinery.
With the idea to improve the production needs of new products and improve the production of actual products, Mexifoods has acquired and installed a total reform of automatization of our lines of weat as well as the packaging lines. |
